Ingredients
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
1/4 c. parmesan cheese
8 oz. cream cheese, best if room temperature
1 lb. fettucini
Directions
Start melting butter on a medium low heat, then add cream cheese. be careful heat isn't too high to burn the cream cheese.
Add milk and cheese. May use more or less milk for preferred consistency. Best to let simmer awhile and stir from time to time to allow cheese to melt.
Pour over pasta.
Variations
stir in cooked shrimp or chicken pieces
Use marinated chicken. Marinate chicken for a day in oil, lemon juice, basil, garlic, and black pepper. Really good if grilled.
