Ingredients
1 lb ground chuck
1/2 c. cooked rice
1 qt. canned tomato
halved peppers
salt & pepper
sugar (~1/4 c. total)
bread crumbs
margarine
parmesan cheese
Directions
Brown beef
Scald tomatoes, peel, chip into bottom of rectangle baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar
Place half pepper on top
Add rice and tomato to meat, sugar, salt, pepper
Simmer
Fill pepper halves. Sprinkle with crumbs (made of margarine, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese)
Bake at 325 degrees about 1.5 hours
