Ingredients
1 c. apple juice
1 c. water
1 medium cored & chopped apple
1 c. uncooked old-fashioned oats
1/4 c. raisins
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
Combine juice, water and apple in 2-quart microwavable bowl.
Microwave at HIGH (100%) 3 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time.
Add oats, raisins, salt and cinnamon; stir until well blended.
Microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) 4 to 5 minutes or until thick; stir before serving
Variations
CONVENTIONAL OVEN DIRECTIONS:
Bring apple juice, water and apple to a boil in medium saucepan over medium-high heat
Stir in oats, raisins, cinnamon and salt until well blended.
Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally
